Reputation Reviews Please excuse me for writing to you at this time, but thought it right and proper to say thank you to all the staff at Hartley Dental Practice. I have been associated with the practice for many years attending as a patient whilst living in the area and since moving to Ashford, I did not consider moving to a different dental practice and to stay at Hartley. All the staff have been super and always made to feel comfortable. In particular, I attended to have a tooth checked, prior to going into hospital for an operation, and as it turned out, I needed a tooth to be taken out there and then, on the 5th October 2016. I was looked after by Heidi Ells dental practitioner, and dental nurse Laura, who were first class, and made me feel very relaxed throughout so a big thank you to them also. The treatment was of the highest order. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned at the practice.

I attended your dental surgery yesterday with my elderly father and saw Heidi and her assistant. Everyone at the practice was very kind, patient and respectful to my father who has some physical disabilities.
After a very gentle but thorough assessment, Heidi took time to explain to my father all his options, enabling him to make an informed choice on his future dental care and needs. I cannot thank you all enough and highly recommend your dental practice..

As a nervous patient, I have found this practice to be very friendly and very approachable. Under the guidance of my dentist Caroline, I have been able to conquer some fears and have actually ended up enjoying coming to see her and all of the staff who are also incredibly approachable and very friendly and reassuring.

I cannot recommend Hartley Dental Practice enough. I am under the expert care of Heidi, Laura and Stephanie who are always so cheerful and welcoming and instil calm and confidence. Recently I had occasion to visit my dentist at Hartley and was seen by a lady dentist called Heidi. Heidi examined me and explained the work required in detail and what would be the approximate cost, I agreed to have the work done and the treatment started, from start to finish I hardly felt any discomfort, and found both Heidi and her assistant very caring, cheerful, and also extremely professional. The treatment required a further tooth to be fitted to my existing top denture, and a new bottom denture to be made. She also found I had a fungal problem which was cleared using an ointment she prescribed. The new bottom denture duly arrived and fitted perfectly no adjustments
were required, so her dental mechanic obviously knew his business. I also had to have several extractions which were painless. All in all I was completely satisfied with the whole procedure, and would have no hesitation in having any dental work carried out at the practice, particularly if it was to be carried out by Heidi.

Going to the dentist became something to be dreaded, terrified of, in part because of the treatment, which was crude by today's standards, and in larger part because of the attitude and behaviour of the dentists I encountered. Fortunately, I was resilient and overcame my fear of dentists. However, my last two visits to see Heidi Ells have been the most extraordinary visits to a dentist I have ever had. Heidi is truly amazing, she is extremely professional, expert, empathic, sensitive and thoughtful. She is so good that I cannot think of any way that she could be better than she is. She inspires confidence calm and peace. From once being terrified of a visit to the dentist I now positively look forward to my next appointment, that really is extraordinary.

I have had to have two emergency appointments recently and your staff could not have been more helpful in making sure I have seen my dentist - Gary - who I would recommend to anyone. When i was younger, i had a very upsetting experience with a dentist that left me physically and mentally scarred, so much so that i would not see the dentist unless i was in pain. This all changed when i was introduced to Hartley Dental Practice and had an appointment with Gary Dorman, who instantly changed my mindset and reduced my anxiety and eventually eradicated my fears; so much so that I even opted to have some cosmetic work done! I find the standards of care and quality of work to be outstanding. Staff have always been exceptional in accommodating my needs and i always able to see the dentist if i am having any problems. The practice always find and implement innovative new ideas in dentistry and lead the way in identifying new products for us to use. I can highly recommend The Hartley Dental Practice as a dentist who know the meaning of customer service, using traditional values of patient care; this mixed with modern premises, friendly staff and a value for money service that, in my opinion, is unmatched anywhere else.
